About center

Ural Mathematical Center (UMC) is a regional scientific and educational mathematical center, created on the basis of three organizations:

  • N.N. Krasovskii Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics UB RAS
  • Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin
  • Udmurt State University

    • The main research area of the Center at UdSU is the development of modern theory of dynamical systems and its applications to the problems of mechanics, mathematical physics and robotics in the following main areas:

  • Study of classical dynamical systems;
  • Study of nonholonomic mechanical systems;
  • Study of problems of vortex hydrodynamics and motion of bodies in a fluid;
  • Application of methods of the theory of dynamical systems to problems of robotics.
